KIDS New Staff training is offered as a free opportunity for interested staff. Sessions are intended for staff who have not used the KIDS Collection System before (or who have minimal experience with this system) and who will be responsible for submitting student data via KIDS. Instruction in the KIDS data elements and software submission processes is provided.
We are accepting invitations to train at buildings/districts for the Winter of the 2018-2019 school year. If there is a need for training and a school or district does not have the ability to guarantee at least five participants that school or district can have staff take advantage of the new Self-Paced Module option. In order to take part in the self-paced module, interested staff will need to log in to the KSDE Training Portal available and create a username and password, go to the KIDS New Staff Training link, and follow it to the self-paced option.
